The only thing I'am guity of is coming is coming down to your low level of name calling, I think you should go back up there. While I have had many disagreements with Yobarr, I don't believe he comes across as dictatorial or aggressive.
He has posted on here the reason for his unplanned departure from GN, which was for voicing an opinion.
Fortunately Yobarr has only been on his soapbox a little here. Hopefully it stays that way.

The only thing I'am guity of is coming is coming down to your low level of name calling,I did this so we are both talking on equal terms. What irritated me was your dictatorial attitude of trying to force your views on others. The same attitude that got you banned from one Forum then you went to another and it got you banned from there too. I wish people would stop trying to shove their views on others. You can go to National Parks, they have no chainsaws, dogs, generators or drones, that is our preferred choice. Then there is State Parks you just take your chances that fellow campers treat each other with respect You can come and sit around our campfire anytime, just leave your dictatorial attitude behind. Alan Alan, your bleating was initially ignored, but since you've now posted untruths about my being deleted from GN, and the other bunch of non-entities, I will try to find time at the weekend to respond. Suffice to say, you are again wrong. That's the Plain Truth. Sometimes it is better to say nothing and let people think you are an idiot, than to open you mouth and to show that you are an idiot. It is not an untruth that you have been deleted, you are trying to say i am a liar. It is you who is lying, your profile on GN shows you have been deleted. That is the Plain Truth. If your sycophant friends wish to back you,I feel sorry for them too. The whole problem started with your Cyber bulling ,calling anybody with a generator a Brain dead member, just showing you have a low emotional tolerance.

Well, that bit of entertainment has ceased, been closed. I briefly re opened that topic under the heading of Genny mufflers. Peter n Margaret, whoever he is, is abrasive and started the whole you don't need a genny you annoy other people blah blah blah taking the thread off coarse and virtue signalling. Even swears he'll go electric EV as soon as possible which I hope he does, all EVangelists need a wake up call through their wallet. As for gennys scaring wildlife away as PnM says, I referred him to his massive slab sided 4X4 diesel truck thundering around in the bush.

There was a question posted on the GN forum, I tried to post an answer, was classed as spam and needs approval. I checked the OP, joined, asked a question and hasn’t been seen since. So, I then posted this information, well, FMD, along comes someone to give more information. Doesn’t anyone read the thread?

Which thread? There seem to be a few more newcomers recently. Often newcomers are single post members, maybe because they don't like what they hear, or expect to be spoon fed all the research they should do themselves. Maybe they forget where they posted the question.

As for gennys scaring wildlife away as PnM says, I referred him to his massive slab sided 4X4 diesel truck thundering around in the bush. Hi Peter, Just thought that I'd advise that Peter Wright, as in Peter'n'Margaret, is a VERY experienced 4wd operator who has been travelling since 1967 when he drove a Mini, on his honeymoon, through the outback from Adelaide to Darwin? (Not 100% sure of destination.) There are few outback areas that he has not accessed, and few things he hasn't done. He has good knowledge over a wide range of topics. Like me, he has strong views on many subjects, but, again like me, he has areas where his knowledge cannot be challenged. His thoughts on generators echo mine, but said thoughts are only an opinion. Generators, in my opinion, should be banned in the bush. Just last week I was camped deep in the bush in a remote free camp in South Australia, fast asleep at 9pm after a hard day's drive, when some RSole drifted up in his shitbox Triton and caravan, parked 30 metres away, and started his generator which ran until he left at 5am. Really considerate, but uncharacteristically I resisted the temptation to confront him, satisfying myself that his biggest asset is his ignorance of what is fair and reasonable behaviour in the circumstances.

On the GN, Diesel EBay Heater. Not this forum. Ah yes, I felt like pointing out that he appeared to be one of those one posters but you beat me to it. I note that tonight there is a further post with advice. As for the attachment I think most forums accept attached images OK but not documents.
Chris, I agree with the "no generators" idea. Lack of consideration for others.
The Peter you refer to has certainly done a lot and he has a wealth of knowledge. However, I have noted more recently that his posts have an increasing level of aggression along with the need to win an argument or make irrelevant comments to expound the virtues of his setup.

Interesting. After all the work I put into GNs over the years, no doubt you will understand that I still read posts over there. A couple of long-term members who know a lot less than they'd like us to think that they know, and almost disappeared, have now resurfaced. Like you, I have noticed that Peter is being a lot more aggressive of late. He certainly knows his stuff, but we had several disagreements which ultimately showed that I was correct, with him subsequently disappearing for some time while he contributed at the other forum. Mind you, he must be "getting-on" a bit having married 57 years ago. It would, however, be great if he were to join our happy band as he has much knowledge, and experience, in many fields, to contribute.

Some poor bugger asked a question about power supplies, he mentioned stealth camping, did the shlt hit the fan then. It’s no wonder people are bailing out.

Once I understood what he meant I was tempted to make a negative comment but chose not to. Personally I prefer not to help someone who chooses to break the law. I see it as quite different from someone who may look for isolated campsites that are just not approved campsites. Where to draw the line?
If someone asked the best donation camps where you can avoid paying, or sneak in late and leave early? What about places where you can dump grey water because the nearest dump point is too far away? My thoughts were that these are probably the type of things that person would be likely to do. Although I doubt that his setup would even have any black or grey water storage. So all the liquids probably go in the gutter. But without any evidence of what he would be doing I chose to say nothing. I doubt that many would be pleased to discover that out the front of your home had been deemed as a good stealth campsite.
