I vowed that I would refrain from posting on the GN site, but Basher got me riled. Here's what he said and my reply.
Well, smart a....e, if you knew someone was going to say what I said, why in the hell did you NOT tell the FULL story.
Living up to your nom de plume Basher? Rude, derogatory, inflammatory and totally unnecessary. Not bad for someone who has been on the forum for five minutes or have you been on here for a lot longer than that???
We can do without posts like yours

The GN Forum is definitely on a downward spiral at the moment. there are certainly some mean old buggars posting crap. I used to enjoy posting Jokes that I thought were humorous, but snide remarks like, I heard it 10 years ago, etc - no more.
I haven't given up on the site at the moment - I do like to attempt helping when I can, but there are a couple on there that will prevent the site going back to what it was, despite Cindy's best attempts.

Possum that is the reason why I have not posted much on there. I remember when it was a delight to read and take part in, not any more, that's why I hope that this forum takes off. There can always be reasoned debate instead of resorting to denigration and downright nastiness. I have just read a post from Santa who has kindly gone to the trouble of giving me (and anyone else) a great recipe for beef Stroganoff, which I will try this week.
