An aid to lifting. I have a couple of lead acid 12V batteries I use around camp for things such as water pumps and Amateur Radio, they are not excessively heavy - about 25kg - but because they are smooth, sit on the ground, are an odd shape without handles they are actually quite difficult, and probably not good for the back, to move. However for $3 from Woolworth I obtained a rope handled, hessian shopping bag which is more than large enough for the battery and now enables me to pick it up with one hand without having to bend much at all. Moving them is now a lot easier than it was. I can't find the Woolworth link but Coles seem to do a similar bag: Coles hessian bag

25kg would be a fair bit more than the design capacity for those bags I imagine. Like the 99c supermarket bags that appear robust but I have found it all too easy to punch holes in them.
For my Andersen WDH, heavy and bulky with irregular sharp corners I use a sports bag picked up from a charity .... $2?. It has a few handles for gripping different sections. Ideal as I manhandle it onto the floor behind the driver when not in use.

Edit: because my initial post was needlessly curt.
You are correct AWL, I am sure these bags are not specified for 25kg and you certainly would not want to be swinging one containing a battery around your head. But with some care, ie. don't snatch the weight, carry it close to the ground they seem fine.
