I'm currently camped at Gonn Crossing, Victoria, 25km north of Kerang in NW Vic.

There's not much here except an interesting "lift bridge" built in 1926 and still operational almost 100 years later. Photos, taken by someone else, discovered on Flickr:

I'll stay here for a few more days and then commence a wander towards SW Victoria for the summer. Bright sunny days but last night was -2C; that's OK, my excellent down quilt keeps me warm at night and the diesel heater does a great job when I get up.

Tinaroo is beautiful, and has a caravan park as well as a couple of very low-cost campsites around the dam.
Great place to spend a few days relaxing.
