Just heard an, admittedly unconfirmed, report that the Over Easy led, and brain-dead group of so-called ministers that "runs" (governs?) our country has prioritised, in their list of preferred immigrants, Dog Walkers. Yep, there certainly is a shortage of Dog Walkers. Surely this can't be true? Dipsticks reign. No brains and happy without them.

If that is true then the current government is acting true to form.
Surely that can't be true , but then again .

Perhaps they were hiding behind the no-hopers using imaginary jobs to be be allowed to immigrate? Anybody recently spotted an Elephant catcher? No, didn't think so.

They are not "Dog walkers", and never have been, they are "Dog handlers" and are on page eight - it's in alphabetical order, they are not hard to find.
However; I agree this is probably not a category of skill we urgently need to bring into Australia.
However, however - this is simply a press beat up. The fact that an occupation is on the list *does not* mean applicants automatically receive a visa - occupation is simply one factor in the number of points needed to qualify *for an application*.
Do not believe all you read on the internet or in the newspapers - no matter how appealing to your political bias it may be.

Some time ago a snake handler was killed when he was called out of retirement to capture a venomous snake. His death highlighted the fact that there was a lack of people with his skill set. It's not the kind of vocation that one would expect to see on the list, though.
