You can't post many photos in one post. You've done well all the same! I still haven't got around to even trying to post pictures, but I will try to devote time once I get settled in NSW. Presently at Coober Pedy, deciding whether to continue North to Three Ways, have go at the Birdsville track, or go back down to Peterborough. Decisions, decisions.

Not far from the Breakaways is one of the best moonscapes on the planet. Many movies filmed there.

Or venture a bit further to The Painted Desert. Stay at Arckaringa Station for a short drive for sunrise/sunset viewing.

Waaay back in 1978 I was driving bulldozers for a chap from Hyden, named Ben Mouritz. For years he pushed for a road to be built from Hyden to Norseman, and I was tasked with cutting the inital track through the bush for surveyors etc. Road was officially opened un 2000 and Ben was given the honour of opening it, with a plaque now erected where the road crosses the rabbit-proof fence, commemorating his efforts. He died in early 2010, 6 months after his wife,Yvonne, passed. Colourful character he was!
