Colornote Notepad, checklist and reminder Android Free Notes may be simple text or checklist with reminders, it synchs across multiple devices, also has a calendar. I use the checklist for many things but in particular shopping lists - everything on the list is checked then when I run out of something I uncheck it, much better than trying to remember to add things to a paper shopping list. Do you watch much stuff on Youtube? Here are a couple of tips.
Stop the advertisements. I am a Firefox user and previously used the Add-on Adblock Plus. Never saw a Youtube advertisement. Then something changed and they started appearing. As Adblock Plus was slow to fix this with an update, I swapped to Adblock Ultimate. Peace once again. I can watch any Youtube video and not get served advertisements by Youtube. Of course the promotions embedded in the video by the creator still appear, but it is easy to skip forwad past them.
Download Youtube content VLC is an open source media player and has been my choice for years. It used to be able to download Youtube content, although it was not 100% simple. Then Youtube made changes that stopped VLC from working. It has now been some months and there is no word on if they are developing a solution. All volunteers, so it's unreasonable to complain. I am sure it will happen, so will keep watching for it.
So in search of a solution I found the Add-on (for Firefox) called Easy Youtube Downloader Express. Download any video with a single click. There is a free version but it only gives low 360p resolution (or if a paid member has downloaded the same video in the last 24 hours). If you donate (minimum US$10), you get to choose the resolution you want (even 1080p which normally requires a paid premium Youtube subscription to watch).
Warning! There is no information on how long the donation will give premium access. And of course Youtube may block whatever they are doing it. All I can say is it has been working for a month for me.
There is another more technical and feature rich open source standalone solution ..... yt-dlp. I fiddled with it and it is absolutely stacked with numerous features to get exactly what you want. But I found it a bit too technical for what I want.
