On another forum I frequent, there is a thread about a simple method of rust protection. The use of Penetrol, it can be purchased in small spray tins or in larger amounts, I have a compressor at home so I use a sprayer attachment, if I need to get the Penetrol into crevices or tubes, chassis I mix it with mineral turps to thin it. Otherwise just liberally spray it under my Patrol. My boat trailer is going to get a spray when I get around to it. Takes a few days to dry completely, but you can still drive with it when applied.

Handy piece of information to store away! Thanks Rod.
