Used to always get around 12 days on a 9 kilo bottle of gas. These days mostly only get around 8 days, with only about 1 in 4/5 bottles lasting 12 days. Had gas appliances checked last week with no issues. Unfortunately too many places take your bottles out back where you cannot watch them being filled.

Although I have no need for gas in my caravan, in my travels I have noticed huge differences in prices charged. In Tge Kimberley I have seen $70 advertised to fill 9kg bottle, which makes me glad that I'm 100% solar powered, except for a diesel space and water heater. Can't comment, obviously, on how long a gas bottle lasts though! Cheers

Well how long a bottle of gas lasts depends on what you use the gas for. If I use it only to replace my farts, it doesn't last long at all. Lol.
