Because this is a free forum it has limits on the size of images which may be stored on it, this is to stop us using up all their disk space - fair enough.
As most do not have their own website on which to host an image you will need to use a public server such as PostImages:

Once you have chosen and uploaded your image select and copy to your clipboard the "Direct link" NB. other types of link will not work.
Here's one of my photographs uploaded to PostImages a few minutes ago:
Next it's back to this forum and the "Create thread" editor; click on the icon seventh from right and an "Insert image" box will open, ensure the "Image URL" field is clear then paste the link from your clipboard into that field, click on the "Insert image" button, bottom right, and you're done - easy
Note:
The forum code which handles embedding images is not great - if you have problems please let me know and I'll try and sort them out.

Select the options you require - your selections are saved automatically.
Return to the forum home page when finished
