Fire

Most of QLD is under fire bans.

Around Townsville and also Mackay there are large areas that have no fire bans in place.

This allows for the sugarcane in these areas to be burnt prior to harvesting.

Very impressive watching a sugar cane crop go up in smoke.

The fire is intense, burns very fast and is over in no time at all. It is also extremely loud.
